Our Story
DoMore started where all great family ideas begin – at our own kitchen table.
We're a family of four with two amazing kids, aged 5 and 8. Like many parents, we struggled with the daily challenge of getting our children to complete their chores, build good habits, and understand the value of responsibility. We tried sticker charts, allowance systems, and countless apps – but nothing quite fit our family's needs.
So we built our own solution.
The Transformation We Saw
What started as a simple tool for our own household quickly became something much more powerful. Within weeks, we noticed remarkable changes:
- Our kids actually wanted to do their chores
- Morning routines became smoother and less stressful
- Our children learned about saving and working toward goals
- Family arguments about responsibilities virtually disappeared
- We saw genuine behaviour improvements and growing independence
The stars, the friendly monster mascots, the sense of achievement – it all clicked. Our 5-year-old started making their bed without being asked. Our 8-year-old began helping with dishes to save up for special rewards. These weren't just completed tasks; they were life skills being built.
Why We Decided to Share
After experiencing these incredible changes in our own family, we knew we had to share DoMore with other families. Every parent deserves a tool that actually works – one that makes responsibility feel like an adventure rather than a battle.
We've poured our hearts into making DoMore not just functional, but genuinely fun and engaging. We've designed it with both parent and child perspectives in mind, because we live both sides every single day.
Our Mission
We believe that teaching responsibility doesn't have to be a chore – for parents or kids. Our mission is to help families build stronger bonds, develop better habits, and create more joyful homes through positive reinforcement and gamified experiences.
